Tom is a screen actor, who has been a part of a number of different projects in his 6 years of acting. These include:
- Sweet Tooth
- Time Bandits
- After the Party
- The Lost Boys of Dilworth
- I, Object
Last year, Tom starred in a short film titled When the Geese Flew. The film was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight – an honour awarded to only ten short films each year.
He was invited to the festival and to attend the film’s premiere. At the time, he was working to raise funds to make the trip. It was an incredible opportunity, not only to celebrate the film but also to connect with others in the industry. Cannes is one of the most difficult festivals to gain accreditation for, and opportunities like this are rare.
How We Helped
Thanks to support from Youth Boost, Tom was able to travel to France to represent his short film at the Cannes Film Festival’s Directors’ Fortnight.
