Stella, a Year 13 student at NPGHS, has spent the past three years in both the Premier Netball and Premier Touch teams. She was invited to the U18 NZ Touch trials and the Central Zone Netball Development Camp, and next year she will continue her sporting journey at the University of Canterbury, with the long-term goal of representing New Zealand. Dedicated, driven, and a natural leader, she has consistently performed at top-level school and provincial sport.
How We Helped
The boost helped Stella manage the high costs of year-round representative sport, from tournament fees to constant travel. The funding specifically supported her final tournament of the year — the NZSS Touch Nationals in Rotorua — easing financial pressure and allowing her to give something back to her parents, who have supported her sporting journey every step of the way.
